This picture of me in the chair was taken in our room (Rm 6, D row) and since I was an E-4, no hard liquor ration, just beer, so I'm drinking a Falstaff which probably had a corroded top (most of them did). Of course, we were within staggering and crawling distance of the EM club, so getting a CC and 7 was usually no problem. I turned 21 at Phu Bai on June 17, 1969. |
| This picture of me in my office (note: I rate a window and it's not a cubicle!) is about as recent as I can get. No glasses anymore for distance (LASIK), but I need readers. Of course the camera messed up my hair color and added about 30 pounds (ha!). I'll be 57 in June. It's funny how I look so much older, but my wife hasn't changed at all... Skip |
