A little background on me. Jim Monarch and I were post photographers at the 8th. We arrived May 31, 1971. We had been at Army Photo School together at Ft. Monmouth, NJ.
Upon arrival in Phu Bai, I was assigned to the Post Photo Lab and Jim did photo stuff in OPs. I ran the photo lab so I got to see all the photos guys printed in their free time. Some of the photos I'm sending are from others who gave me copies of photos I liked. I don't know who took what, so no credits.
I was a member of the Delta Team on the Mortar Squad, first under SGT Ted Sercey, then Ramsey Logbothom and finally John Barna.
I left Phu Bai in April 1972 and spent the last 16 months of my service as a photographer at Vint Hill Farms Station in Virginia.
