Perhap, we had once been ASA, but now we were just a bunch of TRANSIENTS, Wayfarers, strangers in a strange land; and lucky we were to find this Transient Detachment with it's cute little white picket fence. We'd have to give up our ASA status, but, at least, these kind folks might be able to find a home for us somewhere...God Bless the 509th Radio Recon Group! |
But, seriously, here's the Main Gate,as far as I know, to Viet Nam for all us ASA'ers. We flew into Bien Hoa, trucked on over here to Saigon and checked in with the Fighting 509th.
