Susan A. Rogers co-founded Freshwater Films, LLC with husband Duncan M. Rogers in 2002 as a result of the support that surrounded the first project, The Ables' House is Green. She continues to support the company with a measure of business acumen dearly lacking in her partner.

Duncan M. Rogers co-founded Freshwater Films, LLC with his wife in the spring of 2002. Since that time The Ables’ House is Green has been shot and finished and The Reader, a 35mm short film, is set to shoot in the middle of September 2003 in New York City. The Reader stars Tony Award winning actress Elizabeth Franz and Morgan Hallett and should be ready for festival submission by early 2004.
